What data we process

Purchase data: your email address, the game and language you bought, the time of purchase and the payment reference. Stripe, our payment provider, processes your card details and other payment data. We never see your card details.
Game room data: a random ID for each device, the seat it chose and how far the game has got. Game rooms store no names or email addresses.
Local storage in your browser: your phone's browser saves the device ID and the game state, so the game carries on if the page reloads.
Technical data: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and protect the service.
Visitor statistics: we use cookieless visitor statistics that can't identify individual visitors.
Marketing pixel: We use Meta's marketing pixel to measure how well our ads work, only if you accept it.

Why we process it

To perform the contract: delivering the game link, the order confirmation and re-sending a lost link.
Legal obligation: bookkeeping.
Legitimate interest: running and securing the service, for example the phone limit that stops a link being misused, and visitor statistics.
Consent: the marketing pixel, if it is in use and you have accepted it.

These service providers process data on our behalf:

Stripe (payments)
Resend (sending emails)
Cloudflare (hosting, game rooms and visitor statistics)
Meta Platforms, only if the marketing pixel is in use and you have accepted it

Some of these providers operate in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Game room: deleted automatically when the link expires (30 days after purchase).
Purchase data: for as long as Finnish bookkeeping law requires.
Email delivery data: for the email provider's log retention period.
Local storage in your browser: on your phone until you clear your browser data.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Requests: support@redherringclub.com.
